Reading Club sets agenda and meeting schedule
Pinnacle Fall's new reading club will meet the first Tuesday of each month at 7pm at the clubhouse. All property owners, even if you are only in town for the occasional meeting or only have time for one book, are welcome to attend. Bring a beverage, a recommendation for future reads, and enjoy talking about books. The book discussion list is as follows:

Three submit names for upcoming POA election
Three property owners have submitted their names as nominees for the upcoming POA Board election.
Andy Kinigson, Greg Meuwissen, and George Rash all met the May 31 deadline for the board nominee submissions. Three members - Rod Patteson, Ron Hertwig (vice president), and Yvette Freeman (president) will rotate off the board in July. The POA election is normally held during the Annual Meeting, which is scheduled for Saturday, July 19.
Below are the election questionnaires submitted by each nominee. This information, as well as the ballots and Annual Meeting info, will be mailed to all property owners this week. Completed ballots must be returned prior to the Annual Meeting.

Pool is now open for 2014 summer season
The pool at the clubhouse is now officially open for the 2014 summer season. The pool is open seven days a week from 9am to dusk.
In addition to the following pool area rules, below are the approved clubhouse and pool guidelines. It is the responsibility of all property owners to review and share these with any family and friends who visit the pool and clubhouse.

- There is NO life guard on duty
- Emergency phone, emergency numbers, and the address of the clubhouse are located on the lower deck and inside the clubhouse
- Any accident in the pool area that requires medical attention must be reported to the POA Board and BalRidge Management as soon as possible
- Any incident involving contamination by means of blood, fecal matter, urine, and vomiting requires everyone to evacuate the contaminated pool, and you must contact BalRidge Management immediately. These incidents do not require a call to the 911 emergency system.
- Children not fully potty trained must wear swim diapers.
- No children allowed in the pool area without adult supervision.
- No running on the pool decks.
- No glass bottles or glass containers on the pool decks. No food in the pool or hot tub.
- NO DIVING
- Please be considerate of others by leaving the pool areas, porch, and decks clean. Dispose of trash, wipe up all spills, and food residue from table surfaces and decks.
- If you rearrange the chairs and tables, please put them back and please lower the umbrellas.
Approved Guidelines for use of Clubhouse and Facilities
Pinnacle Falls is our home and it is the responsibility of each Member to help maintain the beauty of our surroundings and facilities.
- All Members have a key to the Clubhouse that will allow access through the main entry door. Please make sure when leaving that all Kitchen Appliances, Lights, Fans and Workout Equipment are turned off and that all Doors are Locked. If using the fireplace (s) make sure that fire is completely out and screens are up before leaving the Clubhouse.
- Clubhouse hours are 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Pool hours are 9:00 AM to Dusk. Times may vary as required for special events.
- Members must accompany guests at all times. Members can authorize guests and other family members’ access if they are staying with or otherwise occupying their residence on a temporary basis.
- NO smoking at any time inside the Clubhouse, on the front and back decks, or in the pool area. When smoking in common areas it will be the individuals’ responsibility to provide a proper container to discard cigarette butts.
- NO dogs, cats or other animals are allowed inside the Clubhouse or Pool area at any time. To keep our grounds clean, pet owners are responsible for cleaning up in all common areas that have been utilized by their pets.
- Children 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult in the Clubhouse and Pool area and require parental or other responsible adult supervision at all times, as these areas are for the enjoyment of all. Children that are not potty trained must wear swimmer diapers in the pools at all times. Children 13 and under are not permitted at any time in the fitness center.
- There are NO lifeguards on duty at the Pool. Homeowners accept full responsibility for their families and guests at all times.
- Glass containers are NOT allowed inside the Pool area.
- When in the Pool area, restrooms must be accessed from the outside restroom entrances (do not go through the Clubhouse). Please shower before entering pool or spa. Removal of your personal toiletries and clean-up after each use of the restrooms is appreciated.
- Responsible alcohol use is permitted in the Clubhouse, Pool Area and Common Grounds (be mindful of the example set for the children present).
- Appropriate dress is required inside the Clubhouse and Fitness Center – no swim suits, no wet clothing, no muddy shoes including hiking boots, work boots, street shoes and outside athletic shoes, etc. (mud from dirty footwear shortens the life of our fitness equipment.) Please be considerate to all others using the fitness equipment by wiping down after each use.
- Members are responsible to clean-up after themselves and guests when inside the Clubhouse. Coasters should be used on wood tables. Children should not at any anytime be permitted to climb on the furniture.
- Pinnacle Falls Property Owners Association is not responsible for items left in the Clubhouse, Pool Area or on the grounds.
- New rules may be added or amended at the discretion of the Board of Directors.

Meeting planned to form PF reading club
Kathleen Nance plans to hold an informal organizational meeting for a new Pinnacle Falls Reading Club. Several people have apparently expressed interest in such a group.
The first meeting will be held at Kathleen's home on Sunday, June 8 at 2pm to discuss interests, format, and meeting dates. Anyone property owner interested in joining the group is encouraged to attend.
