PF LLC to sponsor booth at Apple Festival
Pinnacle Falls LLC is a sponsor of this year's Apple Festival, and will have a booth at the event on Main Street in Hendersonville, August 29-31. The booth will be manned by AJ and Theresa Ball. AJ is the project manager for Pinnacle Falls LLC; as well as the property manager for the Pinnacle Falls community along with Theresa. The sponsorship is expected to help raise awareness of Pinnacle Falls and hopefully result in the sale of more lots. The festival will run from 10am to 8pm beginning Friday, Aug 29 through Sunday, August 31.
Several Pinnacle Falls property owners have volunteered to help man the booth with AJ and Theresa over the weekend. If you would like to volunteer your time to help man the booth and/or help with setup or takedown, contact Greg Meuwissen at [email protected].

GRCA provides update on proposed Tuxedo park
by Grady Nance
The Green River Community Association (GRCA) held its quarterly meeting on July 22 with an update on plans for the Tuxedo Park. Henderson County, with extensive input from the greater Tuxedo area, has developed a master plan for Tuxedo Park, an approximate 10-acre park located on US 225 highway in Tuxedo.
The first phase of the park will have walking trails, large green areas, landscaping, play areas, and paved parking areas. The land will be graded as part of this phase. Picnic tables, benches and playground equipment will also be in the first phase. Future phases will include multi-use paved courts (tennis, basketball compatible), a pavilion with attached restrooms, and potentially more playground equipment. Permits for construction have already been obtained, and Henderson County has received bids for the proposed work. The GRCA voted to recommend to the Henderson County Commissioners that they accept and approve the lowest bid and that work begin on the park. An affirmative vote is expected August 4, construction work could begin by mid-August with completion by end of November.
Initially, picnic tables, benches and playground equipment are being funded by private donations. Several members of Pinnacle Falls have already pledged to donate money for the park's playground equipment. Current plans are to combine the donations and give them to the GRCA Board at the August 19 GRCA Board meeting. Individual donations from Pinnacle Falls residents will be donated collectively under the name of “Residents of Pinnacle Falls”. If you are interested in donating, contact Grady Nance (693-7757) by August 15.
